El himno de india se titula «Jana-Gana-Mana«, cuya traducción sería «El espíritu de todo el pueblo». Fue adoptado en el año 1950 y su letra es obra de Rabindranath Tagore (premio Nobel de literatura). La letra es de Francisco Casanovas Tallardá.
